Production AI Assistant: LLM in Elevator Control Systems

As promised, we have made a breakthrough step for SterDźwig and the entire elevator industry in Poland. We are the first to integrate advanced generative artificial intelligence algorithms (AI/LLM) with the real, physical production process of elevator control equipment.

This is no longer just a vision or laboratory experiment. This is a working technology that has been supporting our engineering and logistics teams since December 2025, autonomously analyzing data.

Responsible Innovation: What is "Supervised Mode"?

Implementing such innovative technology in the elevator industry requires the highest level of care. We don't take shortcuts when it comes to safety and quality.

Therefore, we have decided that in the initial phase – until January 15, 2026 – the Production AI Assistant operates in so-called "supervised mode".

This means that although artificial intelligence performs the lion's share of analytical work (collecting data on orders, work progress, task statuses, deadlines, and identified issues, and generating preliminary reports), every key decision and information going to the client is ultimately verified and approved by our employee.

Artificial intelligence needs good data. That's why in September 2025 we launched a comprehensive Production Management System. It integrates warehouse status with current orders in real-time, maps workstation occupancy, and tracks every stage of the control equipment production process. This system, running stably since autumn, provides the data that is then analyzed by AI algorithms.

Ordering new control equipment often marks the beginning of 4-6 weeks of uncertainty. Have the works already started? What stage are they at? When can I expect the first components? The lack of current information makes planning difficult, generates unnecessary phone calls, and introduces anxiety into project execution. That's why we have opened our production process, giving you unprecedented insight and control over every stage of your order.

How Does It Work? Your Order as a Transparent Process

The moment we accept your order, we launch a dedicated project in our production management system. From that point forward, you will be informed by automatic email notification of the start or completion of each key stage.

You have full insight into the progress of work on key components:

Since December 2025, our system has been expanded with the Production AI Assistant. This is our proprietary solution that analyzes the status of all your open orders once a week and prepares a synthetic report containing:

A precise list of tasks and stages completed in a given week, providing a complete picture of real work progress.

2. Identification of "Bottlenecks"

The Assistant proactively identifies all factors blocking further work. It indicates not only potential delays on our side, but also – in a clear and objective way – stages halted due to lack of key information from you (e.g., waiting for dimensions, lack of project approval, unconfirmed component selection).

3. Dynamic Completion Forecast

Based on progress and identified "bottlenecks," the Assistant presents a realistic, continuously updated forecast of the completion date for the entire order.
